La. Court Reinstates Blue Cross HMO State Contract

Law360, New York (October 1, 2012, 7:45 PM EDT) -- A Louisiana appeals court on Friday reinstated a contract for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana to administer a health maintenance organization plan for thousands of state workers, ruling that a state agency hadn't abused its discretion by awarding the contract to BCBS.
