DC Airports Can't Mask Taxes As Tolls, Fed. Circ. Hears

Law360, Washington (October 2, 2012, 5:53 PM EDT) -- The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority overstepped its boundaries by veiling a tax charged to Dulles Toll Road motorists as a toll to help fund a future rail extension to Dulles International Airport rather than using the fee to cover road maintenance, a Federal Circuit panel heard during oral arguments Tuesday.
