Calif. Gov. Signs Bills Divvying Up Cap-And-Trade Funds

Law360, New York (October 2, 2012, 10:59 PM EDT) -- California Gov. Jerry Brown said Sunday he has signed into law two bills that will determine the use of some $1 billion in anticipated revenues from the state's cap-and-trade program, aimed at slashing greenhouse emissions by 2020.

The bills — A.B. 1532, introduced by Assemblyman John Perez, D- Los Angeles, and S.B. 535, introduced by Sen.
