Mo. Court Voids $1.5M Verdict In Tobacco Death Suit

Law360, New York (October 3, 2012, 7:53 PM EDT) -- A Missouri appeals court on Tuesday tossed $1.5 million in punitive damages awarded to the family of a deceased smoker in its suit against Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corp., remanding the long-standing wrongful death suit for a third trial.
