3M, Avery Dennison End $550M Deal Over Antitrust Threats

Law360, Los Angeles (October 3, 2012, 7:30 PM EDT) -- Label and packaging solutions company Avery Dennison Corp. and diversified manufacturer 3M Co. have scrapped their $550 million deal to sell Avery Dennison's office and consumer products business division to 3M, the companies said Wednesday, a month after federal regulators raised antitrust concerns.
