Susman Godfrey Fights IBM's Disqualification Bid

Law360 (October 25, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A motion to have Susman Godfrey disqualified as counsel for SuperSpeed LLC in its lawsuit against IBM Corp. over computer caching software patents is hysterical, unjustified and an attempt to deprive SuperSpeed of its choice of counsel, according to opposition papers filed by the firm on Wednesday.

Susman Godfrey's response follows an Oct. 9 motion filed on behalf of IBM that said Susman Godfrey shouldn't be allowed to serve as SuperSpeed's counsel in the IBM matter because the firm had an attorney working on the case...
