Law360, New York (October 25, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In an ongoing effort by multiple states to force the Nuclear Regulatory Commission into action, New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo argued against the agency on Wednesday in a lawsuit claiming that it violated federal law by not requiring nuclear facilities to defend their plants from air attacks.
Cuomo said that the NRC should have considered the factor of possible air attacks when it finalized its regulations in March.
