Cablevision Takes RS-DVR Suit To Second Circuit

Law360 (October 25, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- After losing its case in federal court in March, Cablevision Systems Corp. has taken a fight over next generation digital video recorders to the appeals court.

The company told a three-judge panel in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit on Wednesday that its Remote Storage Digital Video Recorder was the same as traditional set-top DVRs, like those produced by TiVo Inc.
