Consultant Says Ex-Worker Took Trade Secrets To Akin Gump

Law360, New York (October 10, 2012, 7:45 PM EDT) -- Litigation consulting firm Barnes & Roberts LLC has sued a former employee who helped develop a product often used in patent litigation for violating his employment agreement by taking a job with Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP.

In an amended complaint filed Sep. 25 in Dallas County Court, B&R says Jonathan Andron breached the noncompete clauses of his employment agreement when he joined Akin Gump's Dallas office to help it build an in-house trial presentation and graphics department.
