Estate-Planning Firm Skirts Malpractice Suit

Law360, New York (October 9, 2012, 4:53 PM EDT) -- A $1 million malpractice suit against Lissner & Lissner LLP is time-barred, a New York appeals court said Tuesday, reversing a judge's refusal to throw out a family's claim that the Manhattan estate law firm failed to advise it about important changes to federal law.
