Baker Botts Faces $1M Insurance Trust Malpractice Suit

Law360, New York (October 11, 2012, 2:15 PM EDT) -- The executor of a former Baker Botts LLP client's estate lodged a malpractice suit against the law firm in Texas state court Wednesday, alleging that negligent oversight in failing to file tax documents for a life insurance trust cost the recently deceased client's family more than $1 million.
