FTC Queries Blood Company Over Old Deals

Law360, New York (October 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Blood-bank instruments maker Immucor Inc. said Friday that it had received a request from the U.S. Federal Trade Commission for information related to acquisitions it made about a decade ago.

The company, which is based in Georgia, said the FTC sent it a letter on Oct. 12 asking for certain documents and information from three specific acquisitions it made between 1996 and 1999 and its product pricing activities since then.
