EU Official Says Time Running Out On Do-Not-Track Standard

Law360, New York (October 11, 2012, 9:56 PM EDT) -- A European Union commissioner on Thursday warned advertisers and browser manufacturers struggling to agree on a global online tracking standard that it was their “last opportunity” to make the self-regulatory process work, joining mounting criticism from U.S. lawmakers and regulators over the industry's squabbling.
