Ecolab Swallows Up Chemical Co. In $2B Cash-And-Stock Deal

Law360, New York (October 12, 2012, 2:23 PM EDT) -- Sanitation and pest control company Ecolab Inc. plans to take over specialty chemical maker Champion Technologies Inc. in a cash-and-stock deal valued at $2.2 billion that will allow Ecolab to expand its services for the energy industry, it said Friday.
