Shorenstein Eyes $207M Deal For Minneapolis Office Tower

Law360, New York (October 12, 2012, 2:04 PM EDT) -- San Francisco's Shorenstein Properties has plans to snap up Minneapolis' fourth-tallest office tower and an adjoining retail center, a source with knowledge of the deal confirmed Friday, for a price local media reports have pegged at more than $200 million.

The current owner of 33 S. Sixth St., Brookfield Office Properties Inc., has been scouting buyers for the 50-story, 1.2 million-square-foot complex since it put the property on the market in 2011. Several outlets have reported a sale price of $207 million.
