Connick, Marsalis Settle Image Row Over Health Provider Ad

Law360, New York (October 12, 2012, 6:35 PM EDT) -- A Louisiana federal judge on Friday dismissed a lawsuit brought by musicians Harry Connick Jr. and Branford Marsalis against Peoples Health Inc., saying the parties reached a compromise over allegations that the Medicare provider illegally used the musicians' performance clips in commercials.

U.S. District Judge Kurt D. Englehardt did not disclose the terms of the settlement but dismissed the case without prejudice and said the court may reopen it if the parties fail to complete their settlement within 60 days.
