Calif.'s Cap-And-Trade Plan May Hinge On Fuel Standard Case

Law360, San Diego (October 15, 2012, 10:10 PM EDT) -- California will urge the Ninth Circuit on Tuesday to overturn a lower court's decision that the state’s low-carbon fuel standard was unconstitutional, and attorneys say a decision in favor of the Golden State would help shield not only its fuel rules, but also its broader program to cut greenhouse gas emissions, from legal attacks.
