Raises For Calif. Workers Need Legislature's OK, Court Says

Law360, New York (October 15, 2012, 6:41 PM EDT) -- A California appeals court held Friday that even court-ordered salary increases for public employees must be approved by the state Legislature, partially vacating an arbitration award that ordered two sets of salary raises for medical workers because one had not received such approval.
