Obama, Romney Throw Blows Over Energy, Health Care, Trade

Law360, New York (October 16, 2012, 12:00 AM EDT) -- President Barack Obama confronted Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney again on Tuesday in a tug-of-war over unemployment, energy policy, health care reform and trade in the second of three debates preceding the Nov. 6 presidential election.

The candidates devoted much of their beginning arguments to energy policy, with Obama attacking Romney's plan to focus on oil and gas drilling projects in the U.S. at the expense of green-energy alternatives, while defending his own record in allocating enough resources to oil and gas production in the country....
