Strip Club Settles Dancers' Suit Over Tips, Wages

Law360, New York (October 17, 2012, 5:17 PM EDT) -- A West Virginia federal judge on Wednesday dismissed a proposed class action accusing Taboo Gentleman's Club LLC of taking an illegal cut of its exotic dancers' tips and penalizing them for being late or missing work, after the parties agreed to resolve the litigation.

U.S. District Judge Gina M. Groh dismissed the case after Taboo and named plaintiff Tammy M. Blake reached a settlement over allegations that the clubs' tipping and payment practices violated federal and state wage law, according to court records. The lawsuit is...
