Commerce Issues Final Tariff Rates In Steel Pipe Probes

Law360, New York (October 17, 2012, 9:39 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce on Tuesday announced tariff rates for steel pipe imports from India, Oman, Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates, setting the stage for anti-dumping and countervailing duty orders to potentially be issued later this year.

Now that Commerce has made final determinations in the dumping and countervailing probes on circular welded carbon-quality steel pipe, the U.S. International Trade Commission will decide whether the imports materially injure or threaten material injury to the domestic industry.
