ABM Agrees To Pay $2M To Settle Janitors' OT Action

Law360, New York (October 18, 2012, 2:00 PM EDT) -- Janitorial services provider ABM Industries Inc. will shell out $2 million to resolve a collective action that accused ABM of violating federal and state law by failing to pay janitors overtime wages, the plaintiffs told a federal court in Washington state on Wednesday.

Named plaintiffs Yedida Khadera, Kevin Hudson and Sam Richardson, who work or worked for ABM as janitorial employees, asked the court to approve their settlement and dismiss the case.
