Pfizer Settles 1st Trial In Chantix Suicide MDL

Law360, New York (October 18, 2012, 5:04 PM EDT) -- Pfizer Inc. settled the first scheduled bellwether trial Wednesday in the multidistrict litigation in Alabama alleging the company should have known its smoking cessation drug Chantix was linked to depression and suicidal behavior, days after it failed to win a stay in the case.
