DLA Piper Moves To Toss Lawyer's Discrimination Suit

Law360, New York (October 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- DLA Piper LLP has again moved to discard a lawyer's sex and race discrimination lawsuit against the firm, arguing that the former employee has repeatedly refused to provide e-mail messages she was ordered to turn over.

The U.S. District Court in Manhattan ordered Charlene Morisseau, a former attorney at DLA Piper who is now representing herself in the suit, to hand over e-mail messages she exchanged with her former attorney, Gregory Reid of Ballon, Stoll, Bader & Nadler PC.
