Texas Appeals Federal Redistricting Suit To Supreme Court

Law360, Houston (October 19, 2012, 8:46 PM EDT) -- The state of Texas on Friday asked the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn a federal panel’s ruling that its federal and state legislative redistricting maps fall short of federal requirements designed to protect the voting rights of minorities.
