Biz Groups Target SEC's Conflict Minerals Rule In DC Circ.

Law360, New York (October 22, 2012, 6:46 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Chamber of Commerce on Friday lodged a petition with the D.C. Circuit challenging a Dodd-Frank rule which mandates that companies reveal to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission if they utilize so-called conflict minerals in their products.

The Chamber brought the action along with the National Association of Manufacturers, asking the D.C. Circuit to review the conflict mineral disclosure rule that the SEC adopted in August pursuant to the Dodd-Frank Act.
