Redline Energy Drink Spurs Nausea, Chest Pain, Suit Says

Law360, New York (October 23, 2012, 5:49 PM EDT) -- A man who says he was hospitalized after drinking Vital Pharmaceuticals Inc.’s Redline energy supplement launched a putative class action in Florida federal court Tuesday, claiming the drink can cause chills, vomiting, convulsions, chest pain and rapid heartbeat.

Adam Mirabella says Vital deceptively markets Redline as a safe source of energy while being fully aware that the drink causes extreme adverse health effects, and that numerous consumers, including himself, have been hospitalized as a result of Vital’s failure to warn consumers of Redline’s dangers.
