FTC Working On 'Nutrition Label' For Data Collection

Law360, New York (October 23, 2012, 8:24 PM EDT) -- Federal Trade Commission Chairman Jon Leibowitz said Tuesday that his agency is developing a sort of nutrition label for data collection, a disclosure mechanism that websites can customize to succinctly tell consumers what kind of data they are collecting and how they are using it.
