Chinese Bank Faces $1B Suit Over Israel Terrorist Attack

Law360, New York (October 23, 2012, 10:15 PM EDT) -- Bank of China Ltd. was hit with a $1 billion suit Tuesday by families of shooting victims of Hamas' 2008 terrorist attack at a high school in Jerusalem, who accuse the bank of providing the group with banking services through its New York branch. 

In a complaint filed in New York state court, the families of the Israeli high school Mercaz HaRav Yeshiva's students murdered in the attack claim the banking services that Hamas received from Bank of China helped the group with the attack....
