Judge Pauses Chobani Founder's Ex-Wife's $530M Suit

Law360, New York (October 24, 2012, 2:26 PM EDT) -- A New York state judge on Wednesday put the brakes on a $530 million lawsuit over the ownership of Chobani Inc. between the Greek yogurt maker's billionaire founder and his ex-wife so the two sides can investigate the ex-wife's "weird" shareholder status.

Judge Barbara R. Kapnick gave Chobani and CEO Hamdi Ulukaya at least several more weeks to respond to allegations by Ulukaya's ex-wife, New York City doctor Ayse Giray, that she owns a significant share of the company.
