Pittsburgh Pair To Plead Guilty To Steroid Distribution

Law360, Philadelphia (October 24, 2012, 7:08 PM EDT) -- A Pittsburgh pharmacist and his assistant are prepared to plead guilty next month to charges that they helped a former Steelers team doctor illegally distribute steroids, according to a news report.

William Sadowski, operator of the ANEWrx pharmacy, and his assistant, John Gavin, last week waved indictments on charges of conspiracy to distribute narcotics, according to court documents. The Associated Press reported Wednesday that the two intend to plead guilty when they go before a Pennsylvania federal judge Nov. 5.
