Apple Didn't Violate 2 Alcatel Trust Video Patents, Judge Says

Law360, New York (October 24, 2012, 8:09 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Wednesday said Apple Inc. did not infringe an Alcatel-Lucent USA Inc. trust's two patents covering video compression technology due to the language of a sublicense renewal that gave the technology giant the rights to practice both.
