Chesapeake Seeks Arbitration In $130M Botched Venture Suit

Law360, Houston (October 24, 2012, 8:56 PM EDT) -- A unit of Chesapeake Energy Corp. on Wednesday asked a Texas federal judge to enforce an arbitration clause in a group of contracts it is seeking to rescind in a $130 million suit over a botched joint venture to develop a 54,000-acre oil and gas prospect.
