Texas High Court Reboots Exxon Oil Royalty Dispute

Law360, New York (October 26, 2012, 4:02 PM EDT) -- The Texas Supreme Court on Friday revived an oil well operator’s bid to overturn a $1.7 million win for Exxon Mobil Corp. in a contract dispute over a leased-out oil well, saying the operator’s failure to respond to the suit wasn’t intentional.
