Ex-Sen., DLA Piper Pull Out Of PG&E Explosion Mediation

Law360, New York (October 26, 2012, 8:01 PM EDT) -- The California Public Utilities Commission said Friday that former U.S. Sen. George Mitchell and his firm, DLA Piper, have withdrawn from mediating settlement talks with Pacific Gas & Electric Co. over the deadly San Bruno pipeline explosion, following protests from city officials and consumer advocates.
