Mass. AG Backs ACLU Over Victims' Services In 1st Circ.

Law360, New York (October 29, 2012, 6:22 PM EDT) -- Massachusetts and several nonprofit groups told the First Circuit on Wednesday that a federal judge properly deemed unconstitutional a $16 million federal contract award tasking a Catholic organization with providing services to human-trafficking victims because its restrictions on reproductive health services undermined government aid efforts.
