Sugar Growers Seek To Toss Corn Syrup Cos.' False Ad Claims

Law360, New York (October 30, 2012, 7:21 PM EDT) -- A group of sugar growers sought Monday to dismiss false advertising counterclaims from high fructose corn syrup producers in a suit in California over their allegedly deceptive rebranding of corn syrup, which has been linked to increases in obesity, as a "natural" product equivalent to sugar.
