Fla. Kills $20M Contract In Education Website Row

Law360, New York (October 31, 2012, 8:51 PM EDT) -- The Florida Department of Education on Tuesday terminated a $20 million educational website development contract awarded to a Tallahassee software development company, one week after the company sued the state for purportedly delaying the site's development. 

Florida's State Board of Education terminated the 2011 contract awarded to Infinity Software Development Inc., saying the website was six months behind schedule and lacked essential content, according to a Department of Education representative.
