Texas Rep. To Examine $1.2B In 'Troubling' Storm Payouts

Larry Taylor, R-Galveston, said Monday that $1.2 billion in payouts by a state insurance pool for Hurricane Ike claims reveal a disturbing relationship between the agency and plaintiffs attorneys that he intends to investigate at an upcoming legislative oversight hearing.
