Court Lets Calif. Board Audit Nonprofit Over Donor Data

Law360, San Diego (October 31, 2012, 11:44 PM EDT) -- A California court cleared the way Wednesday for the Fair Political Practices Commission to audit an Arizona nonprofit to determine the source of an $11 million contribution to a committee fighting the California governor’s tax hike initiative and supporting a measure limiting unions' political spending.
