Takeda Escapes FCA Suit Over Undisclosed Drug Complications

Law360, New York (November 1, 2012, 8:44 PM EDT) -- A Massachusetts federal judge on Thursday stamped out False Claims Act allegations from an ex-contractor at Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., saying the company's failure to disclose serious complications involving diabetes drug Actos, heartburn medicine Prevacid and other treatments doesn't mean it overbilled taxpayers.
