Judge Won't Block Ex-Stryker Exec From Jumping To Zimmer

Law360, New York (November 2, 2012, 12:35 PM EDT) -- A Michigan federal judge on Thursday rejected Stryker Corp.’s renewed bid to halt the sales activity of a former high-ranking employee who jumped ship to rival medical device maker Zimmer Inc. and allegedly attempted to lure customers away with Stryker's proprietary pricing strategies.

U.S. District Judge Robert Holmes Bell refused to reconsider his Monday order denying Stryker an emergency restraining order against former employee Gregory J. Roche, who allegedly defected to Zimmer in violation of a noncompete contract, and took confidential information on Stryker's pricing strategies...
