Judge Gives 2nd Nod For Pa.'s Voter ID Ad Blitz To Proceed

Law360, New York (November 2, 2012, 3:22 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania judge Thursday declined to intervene in the state’s ongoing publicity campaign for its voter ID law, which emphasizes that individuals should still show their IDs at the polls, even though they will be allowed to vote without them.

The ACLU of Pennsylvania and a group of other organizations had petitioned Commonwealth Court Judge Robert Simpson to halt the ad campaign, claiming it was misleading and likely to discourage potential voters.
