Georgia Power Sues Contractors Over $900M In Disputed Claims

Law360, Chicago (November 5, 2012, 5:19 PM EST) -- Southern Co. subsidiary Georgia Power Co. sued contractors Westinghouse Electric Co. LLC and Stone & Webster Inc. on Thursday over what it says is $900 million in disputed costs tied to a nuclear-powered generating project, alleging it’s not responsible for expensive design changes and delays.
