WaMu Noteholders Don't Belong In $10B Suit, DC Circ. Told

Law360, New York (November 5, 2012, 7:10 PM EST) -- Deutsche Bank AG, JPMorgan Chase Bank NA and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. asked the D.C. Circuit on Friday to deny a bid by Washington Mutual Bank NA noteholders to intervene in Deutsche Bank's $10 billion suit over WaMu's allegedly shoddy mortgages.

Deutsche Bank and defendants JPMorgan and FDIC lodged separate briefs arguing that the intervenors had not timely filed their motion to intervene in the suit and had no immediate interest in the case, which was filed in 2009 when Deutsche Bank, serving as trustee...
