FINRA Says 'Rebecca' Huckster Stole $5.9M

Law360, New York (November 6, 2012, 12:04 PM EST) -- The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority on Monday added to the woes of Mark Christopher Hotton, who allegedly conned producers of Broadway musical "Rebecca" with false funding promises, accusing the now-jailed consultant of stealing $5.9 million from customers in an unrelated case.

FINRA claims the former Oppenheimer & Co. stockbroker stole from clients, routed their money into investments that didn't exist and lied to regulatory investigators about his business activities and lawsuits against him.
