Groundwater Policy Covers Degraded Waters, Calif. Court Says

Law360, San Diego (November 8, 2012, 11:09 PM EST) -- A California appeals court on Tuesday reversed a lower court finding for a regional board over its waste discharge rules for dairies, holding that groundwater could be entitled to protection even if the quality had deteriorated since the state adopted an anti-degradation policy.
