DOJ Antitrust Head To Step Down Nov. 16, Official Says

Law360, New York (November 8, 2012, 7:48 PM EST) -- The acting head of the U.S. Department of Justice's Antitrust Division, Joseph Wayland, will step down from his position Nov. 16, a department spokeswoman said Thursday, but officials remained mum about who would replace him.

Wayland, who joined the DOJ during 2010, replaced then-acting division head Sharis A. Pozen in April. The department has not yet named anyone to replace him as acting assistant attorney general for antitrust division, department spokeswoman Gina Talamona said.
