DC Commission To Revisit Building Height Limits

Law360, New York (November 9, 2012, 2:14 PM EST) -- Heeding congressional demand, the National Capital Planning Commission has agreed to study Washington's current building height limits to see if a change in the long-standing zoning laws might be in order, according to a Thursday statement by the House Oversight Committee.

The joint study with the local government, which will begin in December and run through September 2013, will study possible alternative building heights for the city, according to Reps. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., and Eleanor Holmes Norton, D-DC.
