USPTO Vexed By High Court's Limited IP Guidance, GC Says

Law360, New York (November 9, 2012, 8:45 PM EST) -- The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has been struggling with how to determine whether an invention is eligible for a patent given the lack of clear guidance from the U.S. Supreme Court on the contentious area of the law, the office's top lawyer said at a symposium Friday.
